65% Cacao. Wrapper notes “subtle hints of red berry fruit.” Considering this is a chocolate focusing on a specific region of Venezuela, this reinforces my belief that a good chocolate blends a variety of beans to create a memorable chocolate. This tastes a little dry, or gritty on the finish. There is some ever-subtle note of blackcurrant, but it’s vague. Overall, it’s better than average.
